Question 1

How do I book?

Accepted Answer

Pick your vehicle's size, tell us where it's parked, choose a day and time from what's open (Saturdays are listed first), and pay the $50 deposit. Your card is saved for the rest. You get a confirmation right away and a reminder before the day.

Question 2

How far ahead do I need to book?

Accepted Answer

The calendar shows real openings, so if a time is open you can have it, today included. We do at most two full details a day, so Saturdays go first.

Question 3

What are your hours?

Accepted Answer

Every day, 5:30 am to 8:30 pm.

Question 4

Do I need to be there?

Accepted Answer

For your first detail, yes. The plan visits after it don't need you there.

Question 5

What should I take out of the car?

Accepted Answer

Anything you'd rather we didn't handle: papers, valuables, what's in the console. Car seats come out if you can manage it, and if not, we work around them. Anything we find, we set aside and leave with the vehicle.

Question 6

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

Not to book. If we've taken care of you before, the booking asks you to sign in first, so it goes on your account.

Question 7

What if I need to cancel?

Accepted Answer

Tell us and we'll move it to a day that works. Cancel inside 24 hours of the detail and the deposit is kept.

Question 8

What's the difference between a detail and a car wash?

Accepted Answer

A wash takes the dirt off. The full detail takes about four hours and goes through everything. Inside: a full vacuum under the seats and in the trunk, the vents and seams blown out, carpets and cloth shampooed or extracted, plastics and leather steamed, leather conditioned, the glass. Outside: a two-bucket hand wash, iron remover and clay on the paint, the wheel wells and barrels, a spray sealant, the trim and tires dressed, the glass.

Question 9

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

About four hours for the full detail: a little less for a car, a little more for an XL. You'll see the time when you book.

Question 10

Where do you do it?

Accepted Answer

Wherever the vehicle is parked: your driveway at home, or the lot at work.

Question 11

What does the full detail cost?

Accepted Answer

$319 for a car, $369 for an SUV or truck, $419 for an XL, plus tax. The $50 deposit at booking comes off the total.

Question 12

What counts as a car, an SUV or truck, or an XL?

Accepted Answer

A car is a sedan, a coupe, a hatchback or a small crossover. An SUV or truck is a two-row SUV, a half-ton pickup or a wagon. An XL is a three-row SUV, a lifted or long-bed truck, or a van. Pick the closest when you book.

Question 13

Do you need my water or power?

Accepted Answer

No. We bring our own water and power. A driveway or a spot on the street is all we need.

Question 14

Do you detail vans and RVs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, vans and RVs too. A van books as an XL. For an RV, email us the length and we'll set it up.

Question 15

Can you get dog hair out?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pet hair is an add-on, $35, added on the day.

Question 16

What about a smell that won't leave?

Accepted Answer

An odor treatment is an add-on, $80, for smoke and the smells a vacuum and a wipe-down won't reach.

Question 17

My truck is really dirty. Is that extra?

Accepted Answer

Caked mud, a work truck's floor, a bed full of gravel dust: heavy soil is $25 to $50 more, quoted before we start, never after.

Question 18

Do you do engine bays and headlights?

Accepted Answer

Both are add-ons: the engine bay $40, headlight restoration $60.

Question 19

Does the detail take out scratches and swirls?

Accepted Answer

No. The detail cleans, decontaminates and seals the paint; it doesn't polish it. Paint correction and ceramic coating are a different kind of job, and not one we do today.

Question 20

Who does the work?

Accepted Answer

A Fresh Tracks professional. You get an email when we're on our way, and the same photos and receipt whoever comes.

Question 21

Are you insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fresh Tracks Detailing LLC is fully insured.

Question 22

What if something was missed?

Accepted Answer

Tell us within a few days and we'll come back and make it right, free. And if it isn't the best detail you've ever had, your first maintenance clean is on us.

Question 23

Can I book just an interior?

Accepted Answer

Not on the site: it books the full detail. After your first one, book a maintenance wash on its own in your Fresh Tracks app. On a plan, you can add an interior detail to any visit there.

Question 24

What's the difference between Stay Clean and Keep Rollin'?

Accepted Answer

Stay Clean is a 45-minute visit every 2 weeks: a hand wash, wheels and tires, door jambs, a vacuum, a wipe-down and the glass. Keep Rollin' is the full maintenance wash every 4 weeks, about an hour: the same, with a full vacuum and every surface wiped. Both are priced by vehicle size on the plans page.

Question 25

How do I join the plan?

Accepted Answer

After your first detail. Sign up with us in person and we'll set your regular day and time with you, or start it yourself in your Fresh Tracks app and pick your first visit. Your card is already on file.

Question 26

Is there a founding offer?

Accepted Answer

The first 50 plan vehicles, or anyone who signs up before December 31, 2026, get their first month of Stay Clean visits free. It comes with signing up in person after your detail, not in the app.

Question 27

How does billing work?

Accepted Answer

Your card is saved when you book the detail. From then on, the monthly cleaning plan is only charged after each successful service: each visit charges its own price once it's done. Nothing is billed ahead, and there's no contract.

Question 28

What if I need to skip a visit?

Accepted Answer

Skip it from your Fresh Tracks app. A skipped visit never charges, and your next one stays on your regular day. Inside 24 hours of the visit, tell us instead.

Question 29

Can I move my regular day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Change your regular day and time in your Fresh Tracks app, or move a single visit there to any open time within a week either side of its day. Inside 24 hours of a visit, tell us instead.

Question 30

Can I turn a visit into a full detail?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrade any upcoming visit to a Fresh Start from your app. The full detail's price is charged when it's done, with no deposit.

Question 31

What about a second vehicle?

Accepted Answer

Every vehicle after the first at the same address gets 10% off each visit's price, rounded to whole dollars.

Question 32

How do I cancel or pause?

Accepted Answer

Pause for up to two months a year, or cancel any time, from your Fresh Tracks app or by telling us. Upcoming visits come off the calendar and nothing more is charged.

Question 33

What happens in bad weather?

Accepted Answer

We reschedule within the week, or in freezing weather the visit becomes an interior refresh.

Question 34

What's the deposit for?

Accepted Answer

It holds your day and time, and it comes off the total. The rest, with any add-ons and tax, is charged when the detail is done.

Question 35

Is my card saved?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at booking, and it's what the rest and any plan visits are charged to. Change it any time in your Fresh Tracks app once your first detail is done.

Question 36

Is there tax?

Accepted Answer

7.25% on anything that touches the interior, so the detail and the interior work. An exterior-only wash has none. It's its own line on the receipt.

Question 37

What if my card is declined?

Accepted Answer

The work's still done and the amount's still owed. You get a link to save a new card, the charge is retried, and plan visits wait until it clears.

Question 38

Do you charge for travel?

Accepted Answer

No. No travel fees anywhere we go.

Question 39

Which cities do you serve?

Accepted Answer

Weber and Davis counties, Morgan and Brigham City: 36 cities, from Brigham City down to Woods Cross and out to Hooper and Huntsville. See the service area for every city, with the places near each one.

Question 40

What if I'm outside the area?

Accepted Answer

Book anyway and put in your address. If it's outside our area the site says so, and we'll call you.

Question 41

Do you come to my work?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The driveway at home or the lot at work, wherever it's parked.

Question 42

Can you do it at my apartment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We bring our own water and power, so a parking spot is all we need. If your complex has rules about work in the lot, check with them first.

Question 43

What can I do in the app?

Accepted Answer

See every visit with its before and after photos and its receipt. Move or skip a visit, turn one into a full detail, or add pet hair removal and the other add-ons; on a plan, add an interior detail too. Book a maintenance wash on its own. Start, pause or cancel a plan, change your regular day and time, and update your card.

Question 44

How do I get the app?

Accepted Answer

It opens once we've finished your first detail, plan or no plan. Sign in at the top of any page with the email you booked with, and add it to your phone's home screen.

Question 45

How do I sign in?

Accepted Answer

With your email. We send a link and a six-digit code: tap the link or type the code. There's no password.

Question 46

Where are my photos and receipts?

Accepted Answer

In the receipt we email when the work is done, and in your Fresh Tracks app beside every visit, the detail included. The tax is its own line.

Question 47

How often should I wash off the road salt?

Accepted Answer

UDOT pre-treats the roads with salt brine and salts through every storm, and brine clings to paint and the underside. Every two weeks while the roads are white, more if it's caked on; that's the Stay Clean rhythm.

Question 48

Why does my car spot after a wash?

Accepted Answer

The water here is hard (Roy and Syracuse run about 14 grains a gallon, and very hard starts at 10.5), so water left to dry on paint leaves its minerals behind. A car dried by hand before the sun gets to it doesn't spot.

Question 49

What does a Utah summer do to the inside?

Accepted Answer

Sun and heat dry out plastics and leather and fade the dash. The detail steams the plastics and leather and conditions the leather; a sunshade in the windshield does the rest.

Question 50

What about mud season and the canyon roads?

Accepted Answer

Spring mud and the dirt roads up the canyons cake the wheel wells and the rockers. The detail cleans the wheel wells and barrels; mud caked on may count as heavy soil, quoted before we start.

Question 51

Bugs and sap?

Accepted Answer

Clay takes off the sap and the tar; the bugs come off in the wash. The sooner the better, before the sun bakes them into the clear coat.

Question 52

How many vehicles do you need?

Accepted Answer

Put the number in the request. A fleet is set up in person: we come by the lot, look at the vehicles with you and set the day and the work.

Question 53

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

By vehicle size, set with you in person once we've seen the vehicles. Every vehicle is charged only after its own successful service, with its photos and a receipt.

Question 54

Can we get one invoice a month?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fleet accounts get one invoice a month.

Question 55

Do you need our water or power?

Accepted Answer

No. We bring our own water and power. A spot in your lot is all we need.

Question 56

Do you come on weekends or after hours?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For fleets we work weekends and after hours, so the vehicles are done before your crews need them. Tell us the window when you ask for a quote.
