This page says what we collect and why, who handles it for us, and what we never do. We never sell your information. If anything is unclear, write to us.

What this page covers

It covers freshtracksutah.com, your Fresh Tracks app, the texts and emails we send, and the work we do at your vehicle. Fresh Tracks Detailing LLC, in Ogden, Utah, is the company responsible for your information.

What we collect and why

To book: your name, your mobile number, your email, the address where the vehicle is parked, the vehicle's year, make, model and color, and anything you tell us about getting to the vehicle. We need them to come to the right place and do the work.

To charge you: your card, which Stripe holds. We never see or store the full card number. We keep Stripe's reference for it, plus the card's brand and last four digits so you can see which card is on file.

To do the work: photos of the vehicle before and after, the receipt, the add-ons, and the notes a Fresh Tracks professional makes about the visit.

To sign you in: your mobile number and the code we text to it, or your email and the link we send to it, and a cookie that keeps you signed in.

When you write or talk to us: the texts, emails and calls between us, so we can answer and remember what we agreed.

Life Outside: your email address if you sign up for the newsletter, and the page you signed up from. The list lives at Beehiiv, and every issue has its own unsubscribe link.

On the site: the pages requested and the technical details a browser sends (your IP address, browser and device), in server logs we keep to run and protect the site. Google's tag and Meta's pixel count which pages are visited and whether an ad led to a booking; the Cookies part below says more.

Who handles it for us

A few companies do jobs for us, and each holds only what its job needs. Supabase runs our database, where accounts, vehicles, addresses, bookings, visits, photos and receipts live. Stripe holds your card and processes every charge. Resend delivers our email. Twilio delivers our texts and sign-in codes. Google fills in your address as you type it and gives us drive times when we plan a route. Google and Meta measure which pages people visit and whether an ad led to a booking. Beehiiv sends Life Outside. Sanity holds the words and pictures on the site. Vercel hosts the site.

Each of them works under its own agreement with us, and none may use your information for anything but the job. Beyond these, we share information only when the law requires it or to protect someone's safety or our rights. Everything between you and the site moves over an encrypted connection, your card never touches our servers, and only our team can see your account.

Texts

We text you only about your bookings and your sign-in; the terms list every text we send. Your mobile number and your opt-in to texts are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and your text opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone. Twilio delivers the texts for us and holds your number for that alone. Reply STOP to stop them and HELP for help.

What we never do

We never sell your information or trade it. We never share your number, email or address with anyone for their marketing. We never put your vehicle, your home or your plate on the site or on social media without asking you and a signed release. Google and Meta may use what their tags record to show our ads to people who have visited the site; nothing else about you goes to anyone for their marketing.

Photos of your vehicle

Before and after photos live in your Fresh Tracks app and on your receipt. You and our team see them, and they stay with your account's records so a later visit can be compared with an earlier one. They appear anywhere public only as the terms say: with your say-so and a signed release.

Cookies

The site sets a cookie when you sign in to your Fresh Tracks app, to keep you signed in, and Stripe sets its own when you pay, to prevent fraud. The site also uses Google's tag and Meta's pixel so we can see which pages people visit and whether an ad led to a booking; they set their own cookies for that.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while you're a customer. Ask us to close your account and we'll delete your account, your vehicles, your addresses and your photos, and we'll ask Stripe to remove your card. Receipts and the records of charges stay as long as tax and accounting law requires, then go, and the texts and emails between us go with them.

Your choices

Change your card, your name, your number and the notes on getting to the vehicle in your Fresh Tracks app; for your email or your address, tell us. Reply STOP to stop texts. Use the unsubscribe link to leave Life Outside. Write to us to see what we hold about you, to fix it, or to delete it, and we'll answer within 30 days.

Children

Our services are for adults. You must be 18 or older to book or to hold an account, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it.

Changes to this page

We change this page by updating it and the date at the top. A change to how we use your information is told to customers by email before it applies.
