Mountain Green's subdivisions, detailed one driveway at a time.
Mountain Green is Morgan County's unincorporated mountain community, grown fast into a run of established subdivisions along Old Highway Road, with Cottonwood Canyon Road and Highland Drive feeding the neighborhoods and a village center still taking shape. I-84 runs along it, and Trappers Loop Road leaves the interstate here for Ogden Valley and Snowbasin. A Fresh Tracks professional does the Fresh Start detail on your car, truck or SUV in Mountain Green, right where it's parked, and the monthly plan comes back through the ski season.

Pioneers from the 1860s lie in the hillside cemetery beside the bowery on Cottonwood Canyon Road.
Mountain Green's dirt has three sources and four seasons.
Brine and cinders off I-84 and Trappers Loop in winter, Cottonwood Creek runoff and river-lot mud in spring, singletrack grit and construction traffic in summer, and the Snowbasin traffic back on the loop in fall.
Winter
Salt brine on I-84 and Trappers Loop before a storm and salt during it, with de-slicking grit and volcanic cinders behind it, because UDOT treats every interstate and state route and runs a deicing bridge system here at Mountain Green. A Snowbasin day comes home with the resort road's brine dried to a white film on the lower panels, cinders and gravel from the canyon shoulders in the wheel wells, and the melt off boots carrying salt into the carpet.
Spring
Runoff and debris down Cottonwood Canyon, because Cottonwood Creek's watershed carries flood and debris-flow risk, and mud and dust from the Peterson lot, which is dirt and gravel by the river. The last of the wet ski gear soaks into the pad under the carpet and fogs the windows every morning until it dries out.
Summer
Singletrack grit and chain lube from the Cottonwoods trails on a bike rack or inside the vehicle, construction traffic from the subdivision build-out the county's draft plan describes, and a camping weekend at the bowery on Cottonwood Canyon Road, with its two playing fields.
Fall
The Weber runs high until the irrigation is cut in October and then drops for the winter, and Snowbasin's traffic builds back up over Trappers Loop, which the county counts as a load on the road.
