Eden, where the Powder Mountain road starts, detailed at home.

Eden is Ogden Valley's main commercial center, its town center at the SR-158 and SR-162 intersection, with Old Eden's own storefronts, the valley's only grocery store, and the Wolf Creek resort area along SR-158 before it leaves town as the Powder Mountain Road. Nordic Valley and Powder Mountain both have their addresses here, and the paved Pineview path starts at the North Arm Trailhead. A Fresh Tracks professional details your car, truck or SUV in Eden, in your driveway or where you park at work, and the monthly plan puts Eden on its calendar every 2 or 4 weeks.

Eden is one of the three towns in Ogden Valley City, incorporated in January 2026, and it has the valley's only grocery store.

An Eden year, measured in salt rings and beach sand.

Brine and salt rings from the resort roads in winter, Pineview's new shoreline mud in spring, beach sand and bike grit in summer, and the canyon work zone from late October.

  • Winter

Salt brine on SR-158 and SR-39 before a storm and salt during it, and after a Powder Mountain day a white brine film on the lower panels and salt rings in the carpet, because the resort roads are brined and the melt off boots carries it inside. When the traction law is called, a 2WD car runs chains on SR-158, and loose or wrong-size chains chew the wheel-well liners.

  • Spring

Mud from Pineview's new shoreline as the reservoir refills from January 2027, because the exposed bed is soft, muddy or steep, and patched pavement on the city's own streets, where the chip sealing and sections of 3350 North and Innsbruck Drive were pushed to 2027.

  • Summer

Beach sand from Pelican Beach at the North Arm, chain lube and trail grit on the tailgate from the Pineview path and Powder Mountain's trails, and grass and sap from a golf day on Wolf Creek's 18 holes.

  • Fall

A quarter mile of one-way traffic in Ogden Canyon on SR-39 from late October to April on every trip to Ogden, and the first storms before the resorts open, when UDOT can call the traction law up to 24 hours ahead of the snow.
